My name is Dr Carol Porter. A Snowsport England Level 4 and IVSI Coach, I have skied since age 8 and taught skiing for over 20 years. At present I mainly coach children and women of all ages and abilities, taking a holistic approach and specialising in helping clients to grow in confidence as well as developing their technical skills. I am also a mentor in Snowsport England’s SheLeads programme, working with the next generation of female ski instructors and coaches. My PhD is in pedagogical philosophies (the study of teaching and learning), and I have a wealth of experience teaching across the primary age-range, planning and delivering teacher CPD, and coaching two sports.
